UAB „ELSIS“, represented by a group of partners, operating on the basis of joint activity agreement, signed a contract with Neringa Municipality for the implementation of "one-stop-shop“ principle. The scope of a project - analysis of municipal services as a whole, optimization of processes, delivery of computer hardware and creation of information system, which shall become a basis for implemenation of "one-stop-shop“ services. It is planned to prepare the system for data exchange with internal and external information systems, develop electronic forms for delivery of core services, integrate newly designed functionalities with currently used document management system. What is important to notice, is that it will not only be developed IT tool for "one-stop-shop“ principle implementation, but primarily will be optimized processes to reduce overall service time, improve internal communication within the municipality. Only after identification and removal of the current service delivery process limitations the new, more effective information system could be created, providing operational services under the new workflows. Much attention will be paid to municipal workers, whose work involves the provision of services for citizens and businesses, training. The project is expected to be implemented within 15 months.
