"Elsis biuro sistemos", belonging to the ICT group "Elsis", together with partners, in progress of 4 million Lt (1.1 mln. EUR) project, which will allow the driver's licensing / exchange services to move into electronic space, improve drivers practise testing process, create a unified customers relationship management system. The work companies started in November 2009
Developed information system will allow customers to get a new or exchange the old driver's license, pay for al services provided by State Enterprise “Regitra” online, via email or SMS customers will be given information about ending the license period. Among other benefits - implementation of digital perns, which will improve driving practise tests, shorten the testing process, reduce labour costs and increase the transmission accuracy of the tests results, quickly process and analyze all information.
Company’s “Elsis biuro sistemos” Commercial Director Denis Kolesnikov said: "A number of cars is clearly increasing, time that drivers are spending at Regitra office for completing various documents is getting longer. The main goal – shorten the new / old driver certificate issue / exchange process, make it more user friendly, affordable any time and any place. Drivers will be notified by e-mail or SMS about expired licenses, they will get possibility to pay for services via internet", - says Denis Kolesnikov, and stresses that drivers no longer have to wait long for the completed documents – it will all be done without leaving home.
As early as November of this year, drivers will have access to electronic services. "The project implementation work in progress, one of the most reliable HP servers with Itanium processors already has been installed, also HP's Unix software. We have also performed all of the equipment installation and adjustment works", - claims the "Elsis biuro sistemos" commercial director.
The project is being implemented by a consortium of companies. The project is funded by 2007-2013 period EU SF and state budget of the Republic of Lithuania. The contract value reaches 4 million Litas (1.1 mln. EUR).
