Supply of Satellite Communication Terminals

Project description:According to the contract with the Fisheries Service under the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Lithuania the company supplied 45 sets of satellite communication terminals „Sailor 6140 mini-C“ from UK based company „Cobham SATCOM“ (formerly Thrane & Thrane). The aim of the project – to replace the old satellite communication terminals to the new ones in all fishing vessels with Lithuanian registration.
As an ongoing project, Elsis TS together with a long-term partner, the company „European Satellite Link GmbH“, also started providing vessel tracking and monitoring service (Vessels Monitoring System – VMS) to all shipping vessels, where these new transmitters are already installed.
Transmitters operate with the software vCatch from a company VISMA, which is used by Fisheries Service for shipping vessels monitoring.
