„Elsis TS” has successfully completed the contract with the Fisheries Service under the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Lithuania for the supply of 45 sets of satellite communication terminals „Sailor 6140 mini-C” from UK based company „Cobham SATCOM” (formerly Thrane & Thrane). The aim of the project – to replace the old satellite communication terminals to the new ones in all fishing vessels with Lithuanian registration.
As an ongoing project, „Elsis TS” together with a long-term partner, the company „European Satellite Link GmbH”, also starts providing vessel tracking and monitoring service (Vessels Monitoring System – VMS) to all shipping vessels, where these new transmitters are already installed.
Transmitters operate with the software vCatch from a company VISMA, which is used by Fisheries Service for shipping vessels monitoring.
