A new residential block the Lighthouse that is currently being built in Vilnius by the real estate development company „MG VALDA“ will be based not only on the Scandinavian-type architectural solutions, but also will have a smart house system which will allow residents to reduce their costs efficiently. The Lighthouse will be the first smart residential block that will help not only to save, but also will take care of residents comfort. This opportunity will provide the smart house solutions developed by „ELSIS TS“.
Lately, more and more real estate property developers and construction enterprises want to implement in their objects various technological innovations which would be comfortable and economical. Construction companies are getting more interested in possibilities to install the smart house systems. This is a very pormising field of engineering solutions.
According to D. Imbrasas, the Director General of „ELSIS TS, the Lighthouse is the first project of smart residential block in Lithuania with implemented technological solutions that will provide residents with possibilities, at any time and from any part of the world, to set the desired temperature in separate rooms. The remote temperature control is especially comfortable and allows people to save effectively. If you are leaving for a longer trip, you can lower the temperature in your home so that to avoid wasting thermal energy and before coming back – to increase it again. According to D. Imbrasas, this solution will allow residents to save up to 30% their heating costs.
Technological innovations applied by the company will provide the posisbility to read meters automatically. This technology will help in watching, controling and optimising energy consumption. Every resident having looked through statistics can redistribute and optimise energy consumption according to his needs.
The Lighthouse, the first smart house project will not yield to the projects of blocks of flats dominating the world‘s cities. The smart house technology and the entire surroundings – plants selected by specialists, unique outdoor fitness equipment installed in the yard of the residential block and adjusted for both adults and children, and play grounds for kids – will delight residents. The project is scheduled to be completed in 2013.
